The bracket locks are functionally adequate. Customer service was very helpful with instructions since the product came with no instructions. I was also able to find a video on YouTube:

Because the height of my bedrack bars are greater than the dimensions of the bracket locks, the wings of the bracket locks do not contact the Ikamper base as designed. Otherwise all is fine.
