Its second layer covers the entire fly, holding heat inside the shelter and cutting the condensation that forms when inside and outside temperatures diverge. Fitting this cover is also what allows a wood stove to be used inside a Land Lock X.

Land Lock X Fly Cover TC

A TC fly cover made exclusively for the Land Lock X, for warmth and safety in cold weather. Its second layer covers the entire fly, holding heat inside the shelter and cutting the condensation that forms when inside and outside temperatures diverge.

TC here is a polyester-cotton blend at 210g per square metre, chosen for flame resistance: it protects the shelter fabric from sparks while a stove is running. Fitting this cover is what allows a dedicated wood stove, sold separately, to be used inside a Land Lock X, and an included glass fiber stove jack routes the flue through the fabric.
