FAQs — Wood & Burn Winter Stoves

What is double combustion?

When the gases are hot enough, the secondary air ignites them in a second combustion zone above the wood. This process burns off most fine particles and gases before they exit through the chimney — resulting in a cleaner, more efficient burn.

What is air curtain?

Air Curtain Technology uses a controlled stream of air that flows across the inside of the stove’s glass. This “curtain” helps keep the glass clear by preventing smoke and soot from settling. It also improves combustion efficiency by feeding the fire with preheated air, resulting in a cleaner burn and better visibility of the flames.
