Just attach it to the rails on the bottom.

Makes my Ikamper almost noiseless on the highway! Perfect!
Needs locktight or double nuts, the twist knob nuts provided slip over time. The center does not keep shape against the wind and caves in, and needs to be reset after any highway driving. It either needs a strip of sheet metal to hold the shape or double nuts.
Best upgrade to the roof top tent! It makes the ride so much quieter and there is so much less drag. GET IT.
The iKamper Wind Deflector works great for my set-up; mounting a the Skycamp 2.0 over Yakima crossbars on a 4Runner (rather than installing an aftermarket rack that runs the length of the roof), leaves a space between the tent and the top of the truck that makes a perfect fit for the wind deflector. This combination makes for a much more streamlined appearance that cuts down on wind noise and fuel consumption.
