Loft you can sink into
Most synthetic bags quilt their insulation flat. DEOS blows it in loose, so the fill settles into deep three-dimensional chambers — duvet-like loft, zero down inside.

CAMP COMFORTER
Rectangular like the duvet on your bed — 150 × 200 cm. It opens flat as a blanket, zips into a bag, and two join into a double for shared nights.
DEOS starts where most outdoor brands don't: in a bedding house. Our parent company has been weaving, filling and finishing home textiles since 1991 — in 2024, that craft went outdoors. Mild summer night? It works alone. When the forecast dips, layer under it the way you would at home.
THE DEOS WAY
Most synthetic bags quilt their insulation flat. DEOS blows it in loose, so the fill settles into deep three-dimensional chambers — duvet-like loft, zero down inside.
The lining carries a fine silver-dot print that reflects your body heat back toward you through the night.
A C0 water-repellent finish sheds dew and drizzle without PFAS — KATRI-tested, with PFOA and PFOS not detected.
YKK zippers with anti-snag guards, and a neck stopper that cinches warmth where it belongs.
Rectangular like your duvet at home. Two comforters zip together into one double for shared nights.
Stuffs into a 20 × 35 cm pouch for the drive, then springs back to full loft at camp.

DESIGN
Gray, Olive, Charcoal, Tan, Black, Orange, Sky Blue — colors you'd pick for a bedroom, that happen to look even better around a fire.
WHICH ONE?
The 500 is the lighter, brighter pick — everyday car camping, mild nights, smaller pack. Want a plusher, heavier drape? Step up to the 1500 with three times the fill.
HEAT-REFLECTIVE LINING
In lab testing, the silver-dot reflective lining held 4× the heat-retention of plain ripstop — 19.8 vs 4.5. It's the side that sends your own warmth back to you, on every DEOS piece.
CLEAN CHEMISTRY
The C0 water-repellent finish is PFAS-free — KATRI lab testing found PFOS and PFOA both below the detection limit (< 1.0). Sheds dew, skips the forever chemicals.
COMPARE
Same 150 × 200 cm size, same recycled ripstop, same seven colors — different fill.

Honest notes from BigTent
Think layers, not ratings
DEOS comforters are built around home-style layering. Warm night? Use it alone. Cooler forecast? Add a liner or your sleep layers underneath, like at home.
A comforter, not an ultralight quilt
This is car-camping and basecamp bedding. It rides easily in a vehicle and lofts back fast, but it isn't a backpacking piece — and doesn't try to be.
Wash it gently, keep it for years
Hand wash in lukewarm water, dry in the shade. No dryer, no iron, no dry cleaning.

FAQ
No — and that's the point. Eco-Down is DEOS's name for its down-free synthetic insulation. Every DEOS piece we carry is filled with it: zero animal fill, vegan, low-odor, and easy to live with.
Think in layers, not ratings. On mild summer nights a DEOS comforter works alone. When the forecast dips, layer under it — a liner, base layers, or both — the way you would add a blanket at home. The heat-reflective lining helps return your own warmth to you through the night.
Yes. Two comforters zip together into one double duvet for shared nights.
Hand wash in lukewarm water (around 30 °C), spin gently, and dry in the shade. Skip the dryer, the iron, and the dry cleaner — treat it like the bedding it is.
It's water-repellent, not waterproof. The C0 PFAS-free finish sheds dew and light drizzle — KATRI-tested, with PFOA and PFOS not detected.
Fill weight. The 500 carries 500 g of synthetic fill — lighter, packs smaller. The 1500 carries 1,500 g — three times the fill, a fuller loft, and a plusher, heavier drape. Same size, same fabric, same seven colors.
FROM THE CURATOR
We didn't pick DEOS for a spec number. We picked it because it's the first camp bedding that genuinely feels like it came off a bed — the parent company has been making home textiles since 1991, and you can feel it in the loft and the finish. The 500 is the one I'd hand a friend who camps out of their car and wants mornings to feel like home.
