Slides into the shelter's air-beam sleeve at the labeled point and fastens in place as a structural replacement.

Do I need this if I already own the shelter?
Not necessarily. Each Gopamir shelter ships with one pole as standard, so this listing is for an extra backup to keep on hand in case a beam is damaged away from home.
